Oz - Lead Vocals/Guitar.

OzThe band of Oz was started in 1991 by myself and Keith Burns, and in those days it was a four piece with guitars and drums.  We soon had a huge following playing all sorts of classic rock songs.  After a break we teamed up with three ex-members of Jagged Edge, we had another break in 1999, then we came back as a Quo tribute band called Four Play Quo until going back to the Band of Oz 18 months later.  We went back to a four piece in late 2007 and after a little time fancied a change of direction and helped form the new improved Band of Oz, now playing more modern music.

Equipment:

I use a Gibson SG standard (ace), Peavy Valveking 50 Watt combo.  My FX pedals are, a Boss Flanger, Boss Chorus and a Marshall Govener.  Not forgetting a Samson Airline for my SG, a wirless Shure SM 58 mic and a Roland Space echo for my Gob.

Munzi - Vocals/Lead Guitar.

Hi, I'm a born and bred Pompey fan. I picked up my first guitar in 1977 and joined my first band 'Nucleus' in 1979 (with the very same guitar you see here).  I then joined or formed many bands over the years until I moved to Huddersfield in 2002.I started playing  with various musicians before joining 'The Fabulous Rocking Sturgeons' in 2004 messing with loud R O C K covers which I still do to this day (it's my thursday night out don't you know !!). I first met Bandofoz when I took over Craig’s old spot in summer 2005 playing bass. I then reverted to guitar again and helped form Rockjunkies with Dave, Craig and Nelly in April 2007 eventually returning to the current Bandofoz in 2009 and, after a bit of a shakeup we now have a superb show.

Equipment:

My gear..well, I have three identical brown stripey bollocks (long story !) which I connect to my pedal board via a Samson AP1 wireless unit into a TC Electronic G-sharp, Morley Alligator volume, Digitech (Rage against the machine) Whammy, Cry Baby Wah, and my own variety of boost/cut switches and all sorts of other gizmoes and power units (I even have a clock !) which all trundle along a multicore to my yummy Marshall JCM900 100w valve head and 4x12 cab - luuuvly.

Come on the new Band of Oz.
